I can’t believe William is now six! It feels as though it wasn’t very long ago that he was born. And now the world tells me that he is 6! I’m so thankful that he is growing to be healthy and strong. Having him and becoming a mother has certainly been the biggest and most challenging change in my life. Having a baby is the hardest thing one can do in life and I congratulate every mom for all that they do for their children!
Sorry for that little rant, but I thought it was necessary :). William had lunch at the park with all of his friends were he was able to play and enjoy a little sunshine in the mild weather. We had subs and cake, (homemade from me!) and after I took him to a Milwaukee bucks game, and he loved it. It was so much fun for the both of us to bond, and enjoy our day together. The nosebleed seats only cost me $22 dollars, which is why I recommend sporting events for various reasons if you’re looking for interactive fun!
Thanks for listening. Love Shaye J

Sheba has always been a great dog, but I always thought that she had more to learn. I didn’t want to hire a trainer, or take part in the expense. In learning about other dog training exercises, I’ve personally learned that this one works the best.
A lot of dog owners sleep with their canines so that they know whose boss. Well the trick is to do this, but in a much more confined space when learning manners. So I locked Sheba and I in the bathroom, to show her that she needs to listen to me. We were in there for hours and when we came out she understood when to come, sit, lay, etc.… It was truly beneficial to the both of us, and I personally think you should test it with your dog if they are having behavioral problems.
It is a learning curve, but one that soothes them as well. If you have the time I fully recommend trying this trick out!
Hello fellow blogging world….
My name is Shaye Walsh and I am a new blogger who will be writing about all things family, friends, travel, budget, food, and even a bit of fitness too! I was a stay at home mom until my husband and I got divorced a few years back. I have a 6 year old who is the light of my life named William, and a jack russel terrier named Sheba. . My son currently attends kindergarten while I fill my days with working in health administration and spend my nights taking courses to become a Life Coach. While my family has continuously changed throughout my life, I can truly say that they are the two that guide my life. However, I do wish to keep certain parts of my life personal in striving for new goals and looking for ways to increase the opportunities my son has for succeeding in his own life.
I created this blog so I could share my experiences of balancing parenting, work and everyday life. I continuously look at other mommy blogs for advice, tips, and encouragement, in hopes that this blog will do the same for others.
Trying to figure out life, as a single mother is what I do one day at a time with my beloved son and dog. It also helps when life, food, fitness, and fun are a few of my favorite things! I hope blogging can help me share my knowledge and ideas while also attaining some from others. So please feel free to leave comments or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can both learn in the light.
